If you use your phone to be an inspiring filmmaker, guerilla journalist or like to make viral videos, then you will want the Comica CVM-R2 Smartphone Hand Grip. This handy little device allows you to mount your phone and hold it comfortably. It now allows the would be filmmaker to have excellent control and improve the overall quality of the video. With an adjustable clamp, it will fit just about any smartphone.
This item has two nice features that will be very handy for filmmakers. First, at the top, there is a slot for an external microphone. It can either screw in or slide in to become firmly attached. Comica makes a great mic that will slip right into that slot, improving the sound quality of your video. The second feature that's very convenient is that you can screw it in at the bottom to a tripod for further stability. This would be very handy for situations where an event starts as a press conference, and then you end up chasing someone down the street for questions. I mean, who hasn't had that had happened to them before.
Overall, this is an excellent item. It's compact, fits in my vest, and I always have it handy in case breaking news happens.
